Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui unsur hara Kalium yang tercuci dan serapan hara Kalium, juga untuk mengetahui dosis pupuk cair dan jenis tekstur tanah yang baik untuk tanaman jagung. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Kimia, Biologi dan Kesuburan Tanah dan Rumah Kaca Jurusan Tanah Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sriwijaya, Inderalaya, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir dimulai dari bulan Januari sampai April 2014. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap Faktorial (RALF) dengan faktor tingkat dosis pupuk cair dan tekstur tanah. Faktor yang pertama adalah dosis pupuk cair, dimana terdiri dari 5 taraf yaitu kontrol (0 ml), Pi (10 ml), P2 (20 ml ), P3 (30 ml) dan P4 (40 ml). Faktor kedua adalah tekstur tanah yang terdiri dari 2 taraf yaitu Ti (tekstur tanah lempung berpasir) dan T2 (tekstur tanah liat berpasir). Setiap kombinasi perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali, sehingga jumlah keseluruhan perlakuan 5 x 2 x 3 = 30 perlakuan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, serapan hara kalium paling tinggi pada tekstur tanah liat berpasir terdapat pada dosis 10 ml dan pada tekstur lempung berpasir adalah 30 ml. Dosis pupuk cair 10 ml dapat meningkatkan serapan tanaman jagung pada tekstur liat berpasir dan menurunkan unsur hara Kalium yang tercuci pada tekstur lempung berpasir.
