Abstract

Home industry Knock Down is the industry's informal sector to cultivate raw material and wood materials so or ready-made home Knock Down. However in the processing of raw materials to be used as knock down pairs tend to generate pollution, noise and risk of accidents, such as: down, drop, sliced and other sharp objects that can occur a result of unsafe action ( the action is not secure). The purpose of this research was to analyze the factors that influence unsafe action on home maker workers Knock Down in the village of Tanjung Batu seberang Ogan Ilir . This research is quantitative analytic. The sample in this research totalled 62 home maker workers knock down pairs. Sampling techniques are simple random sampling. Data collection using the questionnaire. Data was analyzed using chi square test test. Research indicates that the factor associated with unsafe action is a personal protective equipment (p = 0.04 PR = 0,600 CI = 0,484-0,745), whereas the factors that are not related to the unsafe action is education (p = 0.610), knowledge (p = 0.939), attitude (p = 0.520), age (p = 1.000), physical condition (p = 0.911), and oversight (p = 1.000). It is expected to provide the means business owners the tools Themselves, in the form of Protective gloves, mask, goggles and shoes to workers. To uninstall the plug in order to house workers wear protective tools themselves with complete.
