Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMP pada materi persamaan linear satu variabel masih tergolong rendah. Hal ini perlu diatasi, salah satunya dengan menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis masalah menggunakan soal AKM numerasi yang menyajikan permasalahan kontekstual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMP dalam pembelajaran berbasis masalah materi persamaan linear satu variabel menggunakan soal AKM numerasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 53 Palembang dengan menggunakan instrumen tes tertulis dan wawancara. Pembelajaran dilakukan dengan penyampaian tujuan, materi pengantar, penyajian soal AKM numerasi melalui LKPD dan diakhiri dengan penguatan serta simpulan dari pembelajaran. Dari hasil pelaksanaan tes dan wawancara diperoleh bahwa siswa memiliki rata-rata skor sebesar 65,93 berkategori sedang. Dengan pencapaian setiap indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis yaitu, inferensi sebesar 64,52%; analisis sebesar 77,42%; evaluasi sebesar 66,94%; interpretasi sebesar 54,84%.
