Abstract

COVID-19 merupakan penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2). Penyakit ini akan menginfeksi saluran respirasi dan menimbulkan gejala ringan, sedang berat, kritis, hingga berkembang menjadi kematian. Kematian pada pasien COVID-19 juga diduga diikuti oleh berapa faktor risiko lain. Diantaranya adalah hipertensi yang menjadi bawaan penyakit dari banyak pasien COVID-19 yang mengalami kematian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan hipertensi dengan risiko kematian pasien COVID-19 di kota Palembang. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan data sekunder yang berasal dari Sistem Surveilans Epidemiologi (SISUGI) kota Palembang dengan desain penelitian cross sectional. Dari hasil analisis univariat didapatkan sebanyak 5,2% Pasien COVID-19 Kota Palembang mengalami kematian. Hasil dari uji bivariat didapatkan hubungan antara Hipertensi (p-value <0,001; RR: 6,7; 95%CI: 4,2-10,6), umur ≥ 60 tahun (p-value <0,001;RR:5,3; 95%CI: 3,3-8,41), penyakit jantung (p-value <0,001; RR: 8,6; 95%CI: 5,1-14,5), diabetes melitus (p-value <0,001; RR: 7,4; 95%CI: 4,6-12,1), PPOK (p-value = 0,06; RR: 4,9; 95%CI: 1,4-16,7), riwayat gejala (p-value = 0,000; RR: 3,578; 95%CI: 1,890-6,774) dengan risiko kematian pasien COVID-19 di kota Palembang.Hasil analisis multivariat menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan antara hipertensi dengan risiko kematian pasien COVID-19 Kota Palembang (P-value = 0,010) setelah dikontrol umur, penyakit jantung, diabetes melitus, gagal ginjal dan keganasan/kanker. Pencegahan dengan melakukan screening untuk mengetahui keberaadan kelompok dengan hipertensi perlu dilakukan guna pencegahan dampak buruk COVID-19.
