Abstract

This research aims to describe students' critical reasoning abilities in solving PISA type mathematics problems in the context of the Kuto Besak Fort Palembang tourist attraction. The research method used is descriptive research method. The data analysis technique in this research was carried out using qualitative analysis through tests, interviews and observations. Based on indicators of critical reasoning ability,83% of students were able to come up with interpreting indicators, then the lowest was 43% for inferring indicators. In this research, students in class VII.9 of SMP Negeri 26 Palembang were classified as having moderate critical reasoning abilities. With a total of 30 students.
