Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to identify factors which influence farmers adopting excellent rubber of clone PB 260, 2) to measure the farmer adopting level conceming excellent rubber of clone PB 260 in Segayam village Gelumbang sub District Muara Enim Regency. The data collecting was in October 2007. The research method which was case study. The sampling method use census to the 16 farmers adopting excellent rubber of clone PB 260 in Segayam village. The results of the research showed that internal factors (capital, farming experience) and external factors (activites extension agent, excellent rubber of clone PB 260 advantages) were tendency to influence farmers adopting excellent rubber of clone PB 260. Farmers adoption level middle criteria, it meant farmers applied cultivation technicves of rubber was to agree with PPL suggestions
