Abstract

The purposes of this research are to identifity hortikulture division role to farmer in hybrid com cultivation in Bakung Village Ogan Ilir regency, to analyzerelation betwen ATP hortikulture division role in hybrid com cultivation to com is farmer’s behavior in Bakung Village Ogan Ilir regency. The research was done s tarling from first had week of February until third week in March 2006 in Bakung Village Inderalaya subdistrict. The nethod wich was used in this research was case study as case unit was farmers that followed hybrid com cultivation technique trainings by ATP. Sampel taking method was done by census 30 com farmers from 30 population. To know farmers behaviour was done by measuring farmer’s behaviour with 3 components that were knowledge, skill and attitude. And to measure relation between ATP Florticulture Division role and farmer’s behaviour was used Spearman rank Correlation statistical test (rs). The result of the research shows that ATP role in hybrid com cultivation to farmers categorized to high criteria value of 43,8 this shows that ATP methal to charge farmer’s behaviour by fasilitating and guiding them in cultivation method were the light method To know measurement of high, average and low behaviour category, was measured by using score nean score which was got from farmer behaviour was 177. that categorized high criteria. Based on know ledge mean score was <^0. this showed that farmer’s knojv ledge in hybrid com cultivation was good. Mean while based on skill mean score was 59. this showed that farmer’s skill in hybrid com cultivation was also good and when it based on attitude, mean score was 58. this showed that farmer’s attitude was also good. Based spearman rank correlation statistical test showed that relation betwen ATP Horticulture Division role in hybrid com cultivation and farmer’s behaviour.
