Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kebugaran jasmani pada peserta didik di SMA Negeri 08 Palembang dengan melihat Komponen kebugaran Jasmani yang ada dominan digunakan dalam permainan bola basket seperti, kekuatan, kelenturan, kecepatan, keseimbangan, daya tahan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Survei dengan teknik pengambilan data menggunakan Tes Kebugaran Pelajar Nusantara (TKPN). Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi populasi penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas X sampai kelas XI yang mengikuti Ekstrakurikuler Bola basket berjumlah 30 peserta didik, Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif yang dituangkan dalam bentuk persentasemenggunakan fasilitas MS Excel. Hasil Tes tingkat kebugaran jasmani pada peserta didik SMA Negeri 8 Palembang Yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler bola basket dikategorikan “Baik”, dengan persentase 55%. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik di SMA Negeri 08 Palembang yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler bola basket memiliki tingkat kebugaran jasmani yang “baik”, hal ini dikarenakan jam pelatihan untuk peningkatan fisik pada ekstrakurikuler bola basket di SMA Negeri 08 sudah cukup baik.
