Abstract

The purposes of this research are to : (1) describe the performance of Pokmasdaya in executing PKPM program (2) describe the sources of Chili farmers’ Capital before and after PKPM (3) count the income of chili farmers before and after receiving the funds from PKPM and (4) analyze the correlation between performance of Pokmasdaya and chili farmers' income. The research was conducted in Seterio ward Banyuasin III Sub District Banyuasin District. Determination of this location was purposive. The data was collected in December 2011 to January 2012. The method used is census method. The entire population are chili farmers who has raised funds and has been a member of PKPM Pokmasdaya in Seterio. Pokmasdaya performance is high with a score of 70.10 is obtained. Chili farmers' income after becoming a member of Pokmasdaya is higher than that before becoming a member. There is no real correlation between the performance of Pokmasdaya and chili farmers' income.
