Abstract

The research was conducted at Banyu Urip village Tanjung Lago sub-district, Banyuasin regency in February to April 2012. The objectives of this research are. This study aims to analyze the agribusiness community empowerment strategy of the business Capital of the IP 200 program in com farming, com calculate how farm income, and analyze the relationship strengthening 1P 200 venture Capital program to revenue in the farm in the village at Banyu Urip village Tanjung Lago sub-district, Banyuasin regency. The research method used was survey method in order to gain the overview of agribusiness society empowerment strategy through farmer’s group Capital improvement and its relationship with the income of Sri Rejeki, Suka Maju, Sido Makmur, and Jaya Bersama farmer’s group. Thirty two (32) farmers, eight (8) from each farmers group were taken as the samples. Data collected were primary and secondary data. Primary data directly obtained by interview with the farmers using questionnaire while secondary data obtained from govemment agencies and literature studies. The result shows that agribusiness society empowerment strategy to farmer was in high criteria of each farmer’s group which was 9,38 for Sri Rejeki, com 10,63 for Suka Maju, 11,25 for Sido Makmur, and 11,13 for Jaya Bersama. The average score for agribusiness society empowerment strategy was 10,59 in high criteria. It shows that the farmers did their farming activities in accordance with information given by PPL in IP 200 program. Com farmers’ income was in high criteria which Rp 13.030.625 /Ha/mt for Sri Rejeki, Rp 12.117.968,75 /Ha/mt for Suka Maju, Rp 11.708.000 /Ha/mt for Sido Makmur, and Rp 12.085.812,50 /Ha/mt for Jaya Bersama. Income average was Rp 12.428.757,81/Ha/mt categorized as medium criteria. The result of qualitative analyze shows that there is no agribusiness society empowerment strategy through farmer’s group Capital improvement and its relationship with com farmers income at Banyu Urip village Tanjung Lago subdistrict, Banyuasin regency with -0,005 count-rs.
