Abstract
The objective of this research was to determine the performance of chopper various blade rotation speed using different materials of solid waste oil palm and coco fiber. The research was conducted from February 2018 until April 2018. This research used description tabulation with two factors of treatment and three repetitions. The first factor was the blade rotation speed of chopper : 1000 rpm (A1), 1200 rpm (A2) and 1400 rpm (A3), the second factor was the type of solid waste materials, B1 (empty palm bunch), B2 (palm oil bleach) and B3 (Coco fiber). The observed parameters were the working capacity of the machine (kg/hour), rendemenenumeraton (%), and discharge fuel consumption (L/hour). The results showed that the working capacity of the machine or the effective capacity of the counter machine the lowest was on treatment (A1B3) 2.07 kg/h, and the highest working capacity of the machine was on treatment ( A3B1) 15.97 kg/hour. The lowest rendemene numeration found in treatment (A1B3) 74.17%, and the highest rendemene numeration found in treatment (A1B2) 94.99%. The lowest discharge fuel consumption was on treatment (A1B2) 0.13 L/hour, and the highest was on treatment (A3B2) 0.82 L/hour.
