Abstract

Noktah Merah Perkawinan adalah sebuah film melodrama Indonesia yang mengisahkan kehidupan rumah tangga Gilang dan Ambar yang sedang mengalami pasang surut dalam hubungannya. Dalam film ini terdapat beberapa adegan yang menampilkan bagaimana toxic communication dapat terjadi didalam sebuah hubungan rumah tangga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis representasi toxic communication pada hubungan Gilang dan Ambar dalam film "Noktah Merah Perkawinan" dengan menggunakan pendekatan semiotika Roland Barthes. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis Teori Semiotika Roland Barthes sebagai teori utama dan kemudian hasil analisisnya diklasifikasikan pada The Fourhorsemen of The Apocalypse Theory dari John Gottman. Data primer diperoleh dari filmtersebut melalui pengamatan langsung, sementara data sekunder berasal dari literatur terkait. Dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa setidaknya terdapat 6 scenes yang menunjukkan sikap-sikap yang menunjukkan adanya toxic communication dalam hubungan. Data-data yang terindentifikasi dalam analisis ini diharapkan dapat membantu para pembaca untuk lebih memahami bagaimana sikap-sikap negatif dapat menyebabkan toxic communication dalam hubungan, khususnya hubungan suami istri.
