Abstract

Indonesia is a country with a variety of cultures from various nations, to introduce its culture, but Indonesian culture is often fulfilled by the next generation of Indonesia, this causes Indonesian culture to begin to fade, not only that some Indonesian culture was stolen by other countries. To prevent Indonesian culture from being stolen by other countries, Indonesia made efforts at cultural diplomacy. Indonesia conducts cultural diplomacy efforts towards Turkey, by introducing and promoting its culture towards Turkey. This research was examined with John Lenczowski's theory of cultural diplomacy. In this study, researchers used art, language, and exhibition instruments. This research uses qualitative research methods with secondary data in the form of books, websites, journals, laws. The Indonesian Cultural House is a forum in introducing Indonesian culture to the outside world so that Indonesian culture is known and recognized by the international realm. The result of this study is that the Indonesian government succeeded in conducting its cultural diplomacy in Turkey through the Indonesian Cultural House through the dimensions of art, language, and exhibitions in the activities of the Indonesian Cultural House in Turkey successfully and received good appreciation from the Turkish people. Turkish people also participate in several activities of the Indonesian Cultural House to get to know and learn more about Indonesian culture. Indonesian cultural diplomacy in Turkey through the Indonesian Cultural House has 3 roles consisting of Culture Learning, Cultural Expression, and Advocacy and Promotion. In addition, the activities of the Indonesian Cultural House in Turkey are also divided into 3 John Lenczowski instruments consisting of art, language, and exhibitions.
