Abstract

Dalam operasi penambangan di lokasi MT4 Tambang Air Laya, Satuan Kerja Penambangan Swakelola 111 PT. Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk, menggunakan metode tambang terbuka dengan kombinasi shovel dan truck. Alat gali-muat yang digunakan adalah backhoe tipe PC 800 sedangkan alat angkut yang digunakan adalah dump truck tipe Scania P380 CB. Pada tahun 2011, satuan kerja ini mempunyai target produksisebesar 1.250.000 ton batubara. Untuk mencapai target produksi yang telah direncanakan tersebut maka perlu dilakukan perhitungan kebutuhan jumlah alat gali-muat dan alat angkut yang akan digunakan untuk mencapai target produksi 1.250.000 ton batubara. Perhitungan jumlah kebutuhan masing - masing alat gali-muat dan alat angkut yang akan digunakan didasarkan pada perhitungan produktivitas masing - masing alat yang masih digunakan sampai saat ini. Dari perhitungan diperoleh produktivitas alat gali-muat backhoe PC 800 adalah 263,536 Ton/Jam dan produktivitas alat angkut dump truck Scania P 380 CB 27,26 Ton/Jam dengan matchfactorsebesar 1,04. Berdasarkan perhitungan, maka kebutuhan jumlah alat gali-muat dan alat angkut yang akan digunakan untuk mencapai target produksi 1.250.000 ton batubara adalah 1 unit backheo PC 800 dan 10 unit dump truck Scania P 380 CB.
