Abstract
This research discusses the phenomenon that occurred related to the case of deviant teachings at the Al Zaytun Islamic boarding school that many comments from the public. This has become the spotlight of various media. One of the mass media that also highlighted the Kick Andy Double Check talk show, the analysis method used is the Robert N. Entman framing analysis model which consists of four important elements, namely define problems, diagnose causes, make moral judgment, and treatment recommendation. The research focus of this study is how the problem definition, problem causes, moral decisions, and solutions offered in the framing analysis of the news of the case of deviant teachings at the Al Zaytun Islamic boarding school in the Kick Andy Double Check talk show on Metro TV episode "Gonjang Ganjing Al Zaytun". The results showed that this case was more inclined to emphasize and frame the issue of NII affiliated with Al Zaytun. In addition, it is also included in the deviant teachings of Islam, because in this case it can be seen that the teachings applied in Al-Zaytun are outside the context of true Islamic teachings and are far from the values of Islamic law.
