Abstract

The aims of this study was to determine the effectiveness of garlic powder in the prevention infections of bacterial Aeromonas hydrophilla at catfish. Implementation of this research from Desember 2013 to Januari 2014 at Budidaya Perairan Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. This study used a completely randomized design with flve treatments, percentage difference of feed formulations were repeated three times. The results showed that garlic powder in the feed did not affect significantly the percentage of infected fish, survival and growth of catfish that infections A. hydrophilla.
