Abstract

The purposes of the research wereto 1) identity media information sources of mix planting recinus communis and mays, 2) to measure the mix planting those adoption level, and 3) to analyze the mfhience of information media sources to the mix planting adoption level. The research had been done tn Nelayan II village with data collected in January - February 2008 based on 2004 - 2007 cuhivation. Those data were primary and secondary with census. The direct information media were PPL, Kontak Tani, and other farmers, while the indirect information media was local radio. The information material s sudi asselectmg good seeds (seed forms and color). Selecting planting site, cropping systems, planting space, and cultivating systems. The resuhs indicated that selecting seed with score 2,4 (high criteria), embroidering plant site was 2,6 (high criteria), hole plant was 3,0 (high criteria), planting space was 2,1 (medium criteria), and cultivating system was 1,9 (medium criteria). The information media sources were the direct with 50% high, 30 % medium, and 10 % low criteria, and mix the direct and indirect information sources was high criteria.
