Abstract

PT. Muara Alam Sejahtera uses belt conveyor as a means of transporting coal from the stockpile to the barge. Coal is transported by wheel loader and dump truck prior to belt conveyor. Productivity of belt conveyor field reached 9.728 ton / day, with production target of 8.000 ton / day to fulfill 240.000 ton / month production. PT. Muara Alam Sejahtera uses 1 unit of Komatsu WA380-3 wheel loader and 4 units of Hino Fm 260 Ti dump truck as a coal feeder from stockpile to belt conveyor. The productivity of the Komatsu WA380-3 wheel loader and the Hino Fm 260 Ti dump truck prior to the repair is 2,846 ton / day and 5,943 ton / day so it does not reach the production target of belt conveyor. Not optimal productivity caused by several factors such as work constraints so that the efficiency of the tools work is not optimal. Then the work was done by pressing the timing of the work constraints, and the addition of 1 wheel loader unit, resulting in the productivity of the Komatsu WA380-3 wheel loader and the Hino Fm 260 Ti dump truck to 8,000 ton / day and 8,112 ton / day, with match factor reaching the number 1 so that the loading device waits for 0.03 minutes.
