Abstract

This research was intended to investigate the influence of NPK fertilizer dosage and several foliar fertilizers on the growth of palm oil at pre-nursery. This research was conducted at Roesli Taher Rubber Plantation, Tanjung Raja district, Ogan Ilir, started from June up to September 2005. This research used Factorial Random Block Design, consisted of two factors and three groups. First factor was foliar fertilizer (P), which were P0 (without foliar fertilizer), P1 (2 cc per liter of Greener fertilizer), P2 (2 cc per liter of Pantasip fertilizer). Second factor was NPK (15:15:15) fertilizer dosage (T), which were TO (without NPK fertilizer), T1 (5 g per plant), T2 (10 g per plant) and T3 ( 15 g per plant). DEWI SARTIKAWATI. The result of the study showed the application treatment of NPK fertilizer (15:15:15) with approximately 5-15 g per plant inhibited the plant’s growth (plant’s height, stem diameter, amount of leaves, sum of leaves’ width and leaves’ chlorophyll.) of palm oil at pre-nursery. Combination of non NPK fertilizer and 2 cc per liter Pantasip foliar fertilizer gave better treatment on plant’s growth than Greener 2001 combination, especially on leave’s chlorophyll and plant’s height.
