Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan variasi lempar tangkap Medicine Ballterhadap hasil lempar lembing siswa Estrakurikuler Atletik SMA Negeri 1 Banyuasin 1. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Eksperimen . Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 30 orang, dengan hasil “uji t” didapat hasil 28,2 maka thitung = 28,2ttabel = 1,70 ternyata t yang diperoleh lebih besar dari t dalam tabel, yang berarti Hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak sehingga (Ha) diterima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh latihan variasi lempar tangkap Medicine Ball terhadap hasil lempar lembing.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan yang telah dilakukan, Implikasi penelitian adalah latihan lempar tangkap medicine ball dapat digunakan pada pembelajaran lempar lembing.
