Abstract
The objective from this observe was to evaluate about the effeet of diffrent rootstock genotype to growth and succesfiill of grafting physic nut {Jatropha curcas L.)- This observed was conducted Experiment at research station Faculty of Agriculture Sriwijaya University. Ogan Ilir, from August 2007 to January 2008. Experiment methode of this research was Random ized Completely Design with three replications of each treatments and there were four samples of each replications. The observed parameters were Relative growth rate, budding time, plants heigth, number of leaf, leaf areas, and leaf forms. The result showed that the tfeatments effected very signiflcantly to Relative growth rate parameters, while in others parameters were not signiflcantly differenL Combination of rootstock from Curup and seion from BATAN (the best genotype 2) were given the highest relative growth rate.
