Abstract

In the structure of X at field PT. Pertamina EP Asset 1 Jambi has a contract with the one of government company to get rate gas in the first month until sixth month is around 1-1.5 mmscfd and fot the next month laters changed into 2 - 2.5 mmscfd . In Field PT. Pertamina EP Asset 1 Jambi has two gas well. The one of gas well i s suspended and the other has already production. For the Rate gas around 1 - 1.5, to get rate around that the company should calculated the rate of gas production, but in this case when using the bean with 5 mm diameters, it can cause freezing in flowline around meeting station. The gas freezing problem can identify by monitoring preesure gas, volume gas and temperature in separator with using of law of boyle and law of gas ideal. For those laws, the pressure, volume and temperature comparing in formula for the result of comparing. To Identification the gas freezing problem fforn the gas at well head to flowline with comparing volume, temperature, and pressure with boyle and gas ideal law. In this case the company should make the heater to heat the flowline to prevent gas freezing fforn well head to gathering station After PT. Pertamina EP Asset 1 Jambi make a heater that make temperature in flowline become normal like using bean 9 mm. In the final result the temperature is around 53°F and the rate gas around 1.2553 mmscfd with using bean 5 mm and 2.3444 mmscfd with bean 9 mm to fiil th contrac and the temperature of using bean 5 mm same with using bean 9 mm to solve gas freezing ini pipeline Without freezing and plugging.
