Abstract

PT. Trimegah Perkasa Utama is a company engaged in mining of granite in the Village of Pangka Subdistrick Meral Districk Karimun Riau Islands. Granite mining activities carried out by the system of open-pit mining (surface mining) method quarry. Granit sediment deposition by drilling and blasting or using backhoe Ex-Volvo EC700CL as well as transport using Caterpillar 740 and Volvo A35E dumptruck. In transportation activities using the means of conveyance dumptruck where its presence is needed in order to support the success to achieve production targets and meet the production capacity of primary crusher which is capable of producing 600 tons/hour. At the time of mining at the level required 6 units -60 masl dumptruck to meet the primary crusher capacity of 600 tons/hour and during mining towards -74 meters above sea level 6 dumptruck unit is no longer able to meet the production capacity, so we need a reassessment of what was the cause of it. After observation and calculation of the production field-excavator backhoe unloading with 2 units of Ex-Volvo EC700CL is capable of producing 1.132.92 tons/hour showed that the trencher-load already meet the primary crusher capacity of 600 tons/hour, while for conveyance with 6 units (ADT Caterpillar 740 and Volvo A35E ADT) capable of producing 477.78 tonnes/hour, still less 122.22 tons/hour to meet the production capacity of the primary crusher. 1 dumptruck unit capable of producing 79.63 tons/hour so that it still lacks two units dumptruck. Having taken into account the need to meet the production capacity is 8 units dumptruck so obtained yield of 637.04 tons/hour. From the production 637,04 tons/hour it is assumed that the maximum transported dumptruck enter all to primary crusher, but there were allocated 10% to transport the boulder on the location of the loading point.
