Abstract

Stress is a condition that arises when livestock suddenly encounter changes in their environment. The indicator of stress in livestock is concentration. In this study, the profiles of urea, creatinine, uric acid and glucose were indicators of stress. Blood is an important factor as an indicator of health related to nutrition in animals. This research was carried out from September to December 2022, the data obtained was analyzed descriptively and presented in table form. The preoperative urea value was 20.00 (mg/dL) and post-operatively it decreased to 18.00 (mg/dL). The creatinine value pre-operatively was 0.11 (mg/dL) and post-operatively it decreased to 0.01 (mg/dL). The uric acid value preoperatively was 1.00 (mg/dL) and postoperatively 0.08 (mg/dL). The preoperative glucose value was 62.40 (mg/dL) and postoperatively 58.20 (mg/dL). It was concluded that there were differences in the urea, creatinine, uric acid and glucose profiles of Bali cattle before and after rumen fistula surgery, which were still at normal levels.
