Abstract

Limited training in Adolescent Friendly Health Services for community health center staff is one of the factors causing youth care services to run sub-optimally. This research aims to analyze the implementation of Adolescent Friendly Health Services in Jambi City. The research was conducted at the Jambi City Health Service, Putri Ayu Health Center and Koni Health Center. The informants for this research were the Health Program Manager for School Age Children and Adolescents at the Jambi City Health Service, the Head of the Community Health Center, the Person in Charge of the AFHS Program, and Adolescents. This research uses a qualitative method, a descriptive analytical approach with in-depth interview techniques, observation and document review, in terms of input, process and output. The research results found that the man indicator is in accordance with competency but in certain conditions AFHS officers carry out other programs as additional duties, the money indicator is used for officer transportation, the method indicator is in accordance with the soup, the material indicator needs to be completed. Planning indicators are difficult in preparing budgets for infrastructure and adapting time to teenagers, indicators for organizing assignments according to the decree, actuating indicators are found in the building and outside the building, controlling indicators for the Jambi City Health Service carry out monitoring and evaluation by providing guidance to community health centers. Indicators of the output of not many teenagers served by Adolescent Friendly Health Services in counseling because teenagers only come to the community health center for treatment and reproductive health services. The research conclusion is that the implementation of Adolescent Friendly Health Services programs in Jambi City has not been optimal in several components. It is recommended to strengthen cross-sector collaboration, especially with schools, complete facilities and infrastructure and optimize counseling services in youth care health services.
