Abstract
The research objective was to determine the effect of sprinkling height and plant distance to riser of sprinkle irrigation on coefficient of uniformity (CU) and distribution uniformity (DU) for cherry tomato cultivation. The method used in this research was Factorial Randomized Block Design with two treatment factors consisting of A factor (watering height) of 0.5 m, 1 m and 1.5 m as well as B factor (crop height to riser) of 60 cm and 100 cm. The observed parameters were crop water requirement, coefficient of uniformity (CU) and distribution uniformity (DU), soil water content and fruit weight. The results showed that watering height had significant effect on coefficient of uniformity (CU) and distribution uniformity (DU) with magnitude of 82.32 % and 77.27 %, respectively. Crop height to riser had no significant effect on coefficient of uniformity and distribution uniformity. The watering height had significant effect on tomato fruit weight with average production of 321.61 g. Crop height to riser had significant effect on tomato fruit weight with average production of 198.08 g. The best treatment combination having coefficient of uniformity 82.78 % and distribution uniformity 78.15 % was AjBi with watering height of 0.5 m and crop height to riser of 60 cm.
