Abstract

Inability to pass the reservoir fluid flow in large quantities may occur due to the low formation permeability. Based on reservoir data, formation permeability in VA Well is classified to tight permeability, llmD, so the fluid from the reservoir is difficult to flow into the wellbore because of formation damage. Low formation permeability that cause a decrease in rate production, from 830,4 BFPD to 490 BFPD, and degradation of oil productivity below average of 100 BPD since Januari 2014, the effect of damage formation. So it is chosen by simulation method, hydraulic fracturing, to applied at VA well. Then its need a design and simulation of hyraulic fracturing in increasing oil production. In the final assignment implementation at PT Pertamina EP Asset 2 Limau Field from April 7th 2014 to May 7th 2014, the author use FracCADE 5.1 simulator modelling to simulation of hydraulic fracturing plan and manual calculations in terms of technical and economical. From the final assignment results, the author applied PKN model of fracture (Perkims, Kern & Nordgren) to get fracture length larger than ffacture high. Proppant is planned to use as a Pad and Slurry is mixture of YF560HT w/10 lb/k J353 + 20 lb/k J418. Fracture fluid is used as Flush is 2% KC1 Water. Fracture geometry is predicted have a 35,1 ft in high, fracture length of 262,8 ft, and fracture width of 0,7154 inch. Conducvtivity values are formed by 10.455 mD with fracture permeability 175.370,422 mD.fi. Approximate value of the productivity index increased to 2,014 with prediction production rate 823,9126 BFPD. The total cost of hydraulic fracturing design at VA well is USS465.049.677 with net production a year predicted USS14.763.281,46. The Capital cost will be retumed within 20 days after well operated again. So VA well is proper to executed with hydraulic fracturing stimulation. revenue in
