Abstract

The aims of this research are 1) to describe the agriculture extension activities in Tanjung Seteko Village, 2) to describe the farmers behaviour in soybean cultivating, 3) to analyze the correlation between agriculture extension activities and farmer behaviour in soybean cultivating in Tanjung Seteko village. This research has been done in Tanjung Seteko village. Collecting the data has done in February to April 2006. Data consist of primary and secondary data with census the farmer group Tunggal Makmur IV. The components of farmers behaviour in soybean cultivating include farmer knowledge ski II and attitudes. The farmers knowledge is good criteria, with average score is 17,90. it means the distribute on of information among farmers is good. The farmers attitude toward informan suggestions is in a good criteria, with average score 20,24. The farmers skill managing soybean farming in Tanjung Seteko village is in good a criteria, with average score is 17,20. The correlation between activity agriculture extension activities with farmers behaviour in soybean cultivating using the rank Spearman test, gets correlation value rs = 0,324 and rs a = 0,305. It means there is a positive correlation between agriculture extension activities with farmers behaviour in soybean cultivating.
