Abstract

The purposes of this research were to find out the factors that influence farmers not to adopt the Complete Tablet Compound Fertilizer (PMLT) for Palm Oil Plants at Sumber Deras village Pematang Panggang, district of Ogan Komering Ilir. The research was carried out in Maret until April 2006 and collected data in May 2006. The research method that used was a case study for one group of farmers at Sumber Deras Village. Collecting data of the primary data and secondary data. Ali data taking from some resources had been analyzed with tabulations and prepared on systematic explanation. The results of the research shown that factors influencing farmers not to adopt the using of Complete Tablet Compound Fertilizer were economic factors (53.85%), social factors (7.69%) and technical factors (38.46%).
