Abstract

This research was purposed to discribe women farnicr time allocation, to account cucumbers farming product, to analyze women’s income contribution toward income ofcucumber farming This research was done on May to june 2005 and used survey and simple random sampling methods. The datas collected October to November 2004 plants periods, consist cf primary and secondary datas taken by direct intervew using quisionare. The secondary data taken by collected from connected instancc. Then tabulated and deseribe descriptively. The result of this research showed that women’s time allocation at Palapa IV Viliage for daily house activity is 5,95 hours a day, cucumber farmer’s activity is 6,7 hours a day sociai activity is 0,45 hours a day and rest times 10,9 hours a day Cucumber total product which produce by women farner at Palapa IV viliage is avarage 2.383,10(5 kilograms/cultivate or 5.877.933 kilograms/hectare. Real income women’s farners contribution at cucumber’s cultivating Rp. 956.6.30,84 per cultivate per plant period or Rp. 2.502.459,68 per heetar per plant period. Although women’s income such as man is Rp. 845.946,28 per cultivate per plani per period or Rp. 2.212.918,89 per heetar per plant period.
