Abstract

Pabrik Pembuatan Stirena Monomer (SM) dari Benzena dan asam asetat direncanakan berlokasi di daerah Cilegon, Banten. Pabrik ini meliputi area seluas 4 Ha dengan kapasitas 115.000 ton per tahun. . Proses pembuatan Stirena Monomer (SM) dari Benzena dan asam asetat ini mengacu pada US Patent No. 0046554 A1. Reaksi berlangsung pada reaktor multibular fixed bed reactor dengan temperature 250 C pada reaktor-01 (R-01) dan reaktor-03 (R-03), 80 C pada reaktor-02 (R-02) dan tekanan 1,5 atm pada reaktor-01 (R-01) dan reaktor-03 (R-03) dan 15 atm pada reaktor-02 (R-02). Pabrik ini merupakan perusahaan yang berbentuk Perseroan Terbatas (PT) dengan sistem organisasi line and staff , yang dipimpin oleh seorang direktur utama dengan jumlah karyawan 135 orang. Pabrik Stirena Monomer (SM) dari Benzena dan asam asetat ini layak didirikan karena telah memenuhi persyaratan parameter ekonomi sebagai berikut : • Investasi = US $ 25,401.109,55 • Hasil penjualan per tahun = US $ 47.998.197,16 • Biaya produksi per tahun = US $ 239.041.278,70 • Laba bersih per tahun = US $ 145.441.404,69 • Pay Out Time = 2,5 tahun • Discounted Cash Flow – ROR = 66,36 % • Break Event Point = 33,7 % • Service Life = 11 tahun
