Abstract
Pabrik pembuatan etil asetat dari etanol dengan kapasitas 77.000 ton/tahun direncanakan berdiri pada tahun 2022 di Kecamatan Lawang, Kabupaten Malang, Jawa Timur yang diperkirakan memiliki luas area sebesar 8 Ha. Proses pembuatan etil asetat (CH3COOC2H5) menggunakan reaksi dehidrogenasi dan dimerisasi dengan reactive distillation column jenis multitubular fixed bed (RDC-01) dengan katalis CuO/ZnO/Al2O3. Kondisi operasi pembuatan etil asetat adalah 211oC dan tekanan 20 bar. Reaksi yang terjadi sebagai berikut: Reaksi I C2H5OH(l) CH3CHO(l) + H2(g) Etanol Asetaldehid Hidrogen Reaksi II CH3CHO(l) + C2H5OH(l) CH3COOC2H5(l) + H2(g) Asetaldehid Etanol Etil Asetat Hidrogen Pabrik pembuatan etil asetat ini berbentuk Perseroan Terbatas (PT) yang pimpinannya adalah Direktur. Sistem organisasi perusahaan ini adalah line and staff dengan jumlah karyawan sebanyak 188 orang. Hasil dari analisa ekonomi Prarencana Pabrik Pembuatan Etil Asetat sebagai berikut: • Total Capital Investment = US $ 69.530.199,52 • Selling Price per Year = US $ 240.695.481,17 • Total Production Cost = US $ 181.241.181,35 • Annual Cash Flow = US $ 50.246.291,33 • Pay Out time = 2,03 tahun • Rate of Return = 64,13% • Discounted Cash Flow = 72,11% • Break Even Point = 32,17% • Service Life = 11 tahun
