Abstract

PT. Bukit Asam Tbk Tanjung Enim melakukan kegiatan penambangan dengan sistem tambang terbuka (surface mining). Kegiatan Penambangan di lokasi Tambang Air Laya wilayah Swakelola 3 dikerjakan oleh kontraktor PT. Bangun Karya Pratama Lestari (BKPL) dibawah pengawasan satuan kerja Swakelola III dengan sistem kontrak pembiayaan pada excavator berdasarkan jam kerja alat dan pemakaian bahan bakar. Kegiatan produksi dari lokasi front ke disposal di satuan kerja Swakelola 3 menggunakan kombinasi antara Excavator Komatsu PC 400 dan Excavator Komatsu PC 800 dengan dump truck Scania P380. Jumlah masing-masing excavator ada 3 unit, untuk jumlah dump truck Scania P380 pada pemindahan overburden ada 57 unit dan pada pemindahan batubara ada 10 unit. Pemakaian excavator dilapangan tidak berlangsung secara optimal. Dikarenakan penggunaannya yang kurang tepat guna ataupun kendala lain. Sehingga biaya yang dikeluarkan melebihi dari perencanaan, baik itu pada overburden ataupun batubara. Dari penelitian didapat biaya tidak efektif pemakaian Excavator Komatsu PC 400 untuk pemindahan lapisan tanah penutup pada bulan agustus, september dan oktober adalah Rp. 58.664.346,40, Rp. 69.856.392,00, Rp. 67.753.188,80. dan untuk Excavator Komatsu PC 800 adalah Rp. 209.092.563,70, Rp. 58.198.393,68, Rp. 173.728.070,90. Sedangkan untuk penggalian lapisan batubara, biaya tidak efektif pemakaian Excavator Komatsu P C 400 pada bulan agustus,september dan oktober adalah Rp. 5.971.594,80, Rp. 6.225.105,90, Rp. 5.023.275,50 dan untuk Excavator Komatsu PC 800 adalah Rp. 24.874.160,08, Rp. 13.176.674,00, Rp. 5.848.743,04.
