Abstract

Pabrik pembuatan senyawa sodium peroksida dengan kapasitas 174.000 ton/tahun ini berdiri pada tahun 2022 di Kota Bontang, Kalimantan Timur yang diperkirakan memiliki luas area sebesar 6 ha. Proses pembuatan sodium peroksida menggunakan proses oksidasi sodium dalam reaktor jenis stirred tank reactor (R-01). Karena reaksi berjalan secara non-adiabatik, kondisi operasi pembuatan sodium peroksida adalah 120 – 400 oC dan tekanan 0,9 atm dengan reaksi: 4 Na + O2 Na2O 2 Na2O + O2 2 Na2O2 Produk sodium peroksida yang dihasilkan akan dikirim ke tanki penyimpanan menggunakan pneumatic conveyor (PC-01) menuju tanki (T-04). Bubuk sodium peroksida dijaga kondisinya agar tidak menggumpal karena kontak dengan udara atmosfer dan settling dalam tanki dengan cara dilakukan pengadukan terus menerus dan dialirkan gas N2. Pabrik ini merupakan perusahaan perseroan terbatas (PT) dengan sistem organisasi line and staff, yang dipimpin oleh Direktur Utama dengan jumlah karyawan sebanyak 160 orang. Berdasarkan hasil analisa ekonomi, pabrik etilen ini layak didirikan dengan perincian sebagai berikut: • Total Capital Investment = US $ 3.574.351.482,47 • Selling Price per Year = US $ 7.535.975.383,43 • Total Production Cost = US $ 5.296.687.882,86 • Annual Cash Flow = US $ 1.843.701.137,68 • Pay Out time = 1,86 tahun • Rate of Return = 43,85% • Discounted Cash Flow = 51,11% • Break Even Point = 31,50% • Service Life = 11 tahun
