Abstract

Technology that could be useful in maintaining security in plantation areas should be achievable. It should be able to identify objects and movements within the plantation area. With such a system in place, users can take prompt actions to address any issues, enabling researchers to leverage microcontroller technology. One way is by creating a living creature movement warning system in the plantation with Telegram bot notifications based on the Internet of Things. Literature Review Method: This method involves gathering information related to project development from the internet. Observational Method: This method is directly implemented at the research site. Consultation Method: In this method, the author will interact through question and answer sessions with the supervising faculty. Implementation and Testing Method: This method involves implementing real-time warning systems. In the testing results obtained from the Telegram Bot application, it can be seen that upon detecting movement, the PyCharm application will automatically send photos and text notifications, as depicted in the image above. It is important to note that at certain distances, there may be differences in delay time and response provided by the ESP32 Cam device. Successful detection of moving objects is achieved through the use of the background subtraction algorithm. The xi background subtraction method proves to be effective. In the implementation of Telegram bot into the living creature movement warning system using the background subtraction algorithm, it is concluded that the use of Telegram bot is effective as a communication medium to provide warnings to users because the text and images sent align with expectations.
