Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media sempoa terhadap kemampuan rational counting pada anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Islam Az-Zahrah Palembang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif eksperimen dengan rancangan one-shot case study. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah tes dan observasi terstruktur. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada anak kelas A1 di TK Islam Az-Zahrah Palembang dengan jumlah sampel 16 anak. Hasil analisis data yang diperoleh bahwa nilai thitung 4,36 tabel 1,75. Sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa h > (4,36 > 1,75) maka dengan demikian dinyatakan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh media sempoa terhadap kemampuan rational counting pada anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Islam Az-Zahrah Palembang. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan 12 orang anak dalam kategori Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB), dan 4 orang anak masuk dalam kategori Mulai Berkembang (MB).
