Abstract
Purpose of this research was to know the best dosage of compound fertilizer for the growth rubber stock seion. The research was conducted at stock seion nursery of Agriculture Faculty of Sriwijaya University. It was conducted from August 2007 until February 2008. Experimental method of this research was used Randomized Completely Block Design with five treatments. The treatments were : control (without fertilizer), compound fertilizer with 22,8 g per plant of dosage, 42,8 g per plant of dosage, 62,8 g per plant of dosage, and 82,8 g per plant of dosage. The result showed that NPKMg (15:15:6:4) compound fertilizer statistically was not effected well to the variable of plant height increasing, the increasing of leaf canopy amount, the increasing of leaf stalk amount, stem’s diameter encreasing, the amount of stock seion shoot, crown’s width and leaf areas. Compound fertilizer with 62,8 g per plant of dosage was showed higher growth in the variable of plant height increasing, the increasing of leaf canopy amount, the increasing of leaf stalk amount, crown’s width and leaf areas.
