Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persentase dan bentuk miskonsepsi siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Batu pada materi kinematika gerak lurus. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 64 siswa kelas XI IPA 2 dan XI IPA 3 di SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Batu tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen four-tier diagnostic test yang terdiri dari 10 soal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Diperoleh hasil yang siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi sebanyak 41,56% termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Miskonsepsi tertinggi terdapat pada indikator soal menganalisis karakteristik gerak lurus berubah beraturan dengan persentase sebesar 57,29% yang masuk dalam kategori miskonsepsi sedang. Miskonsepsi terendah terdapat pada indikator soal menjelaskan tentang gerak lurus dengan persentase sebesar 25% termasuk dalam kategori miskonsepsi rendah. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi tentang miskonsepsi yang terjadi pada materi kinematika gerak lurus di SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Batu. Bagi peneliti lanjutan dapat melakukan penelitian lanjutan mengetahui penyebab miskonsepsi dan upaya untuk mengatasinya. Kata kunci: Miskonsepsi, kinematika gerak lurus, tes diagnostik four-tier
