Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the forms of intertextual relationships in the Anime Classroom of The Elite and the forms of changes in the plot, events, characters and settings contained in the light novel and Anime Classroom of The Elite and their implications for Indonesian language learning in high school. This research uses descriptive analysis methods. The data source for this research is the Anime Classroom of The Elite, produced by Lerche and directed by Seiji Kishi and Hiroyuki Hasimoto with a duration of 24 minutes per episode in season 1. And the light novel Classroom of The Elite by Shogo Kinugasa, illustrated by Shunsaku Tomose, publisher Media Factory a total of 299 sheets in volume 1. The data in the study were taken from anime episodes 1-3 and light novel volumes 1 and. The results of this research are (1) Intertextual relationships in anime, including 1 conversion and 8 exerps in characters, 9 modifications and 3 conversions in plot, and 5 conversions in setting (atmosphere, place and time). (2) The form of change (ecranization), includes reducing the plot by 25 events, 3 characters and 5 settings. Added plot of 10 events, 3 characters and 5 settings. Various changes occurred in 2 events.
