Abstract
Self-regulated learning is important for students to be directed in learning activities. A self-regulated learner knows his strengths and weaknesses, and knows how to utilize them productively so as to achieve learning goals. This study aims to determine the level of self-regulated learning in students with academic achievement at SMA N 1 Indralaya. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. As for the data collection technique using a questionnaire. The population in this study was 354 students, who were then sampled using nonprobability sampling techniques with purposive sampling techniques. The sample of this study was academic achievement students who were taken from the top 10 ranked students in class XI, so that 100 students were obtained as research samples. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using statistical analysis with the help of SPSS version 25 and Microsoft Excel 2013 applications. The results showed a tendency that students already have good self-regulated learning with a percentage of high category (69.5%), and medium category (26.33%). It can be interpreted that many students already have self-regulated learning which is able to regulate their thoughts, behaviors, and emotions in achieving optimal learning goals.
