Abstract

The development of interactive video-based learning with media by using Adobe Animate CC 2022 was carried out and applied to Indonesian language subject. The research aims to produce interactive video-based learning media using the Adobe Animate CC 2022 application for valid, practical, and effective short story writing materials. The development model used is the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages, including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The evaluations were expert validation, one-to-one, small group, and field tests. The results of the study showed that the validity of material was 90% with very valid categories, media validity was 87% with highly valid categories, and languages had a validity level of 88% with a very valid category. From the three validations carried out, the average result was 88% for very valid categories. The practicality score at the one-to-one stage was 86% with very practical categories, and at the small group stage, it was 98% with highly practical categories. Then the average presentation was 92% in the very hands-on category. Instead, to demonstrate media effectiveness, the results were 56% pretest and 96% posttest and showed high learning results for students with a N-Gain score of 0.92. Thus, the interactive video-based learning with media using the Adobe Animate CC 2022 application attracted the attention of students, so it can be applied to enhance the value of Indonesian language subject on short story writing material for elementary school students in grade V.
