Abstract

Bola.com merupakan salah satu portal berita dalam jaringan bertaraf nasional yang menyediakan berita seputar olahraga. Sebagai salah satu portal berita olahraga nasional, bola.com mempunyai kewajiban untuk menyampaikan informasi seputar olahraga, tanpa terikat kepentingan apapun, termasuk kepentingan gender tertentu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konten berita yang terdapat pada website bola.com. Penelitian ini menggunakan data yang diperoleh dari hasil dokumentasi dan studi Pustaka, dengan metode penelitian analisis isi kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa berita yang ditampilkan pada website bola.com mengandung Male Gaze. Pengidentifikasian berita yang mengandung Male Gaze dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tiga dimensi yaitu dimensi liputan, dimensi bahasa, dan dimensi konten visual, yang diturunkan berdasarkan teori male gaze oleh Laura Mulvey Kata Kunci: Male Gaze, Bola.com, Portal Berita Dalam Jaringan, Analisis Isi Konten. Bola.com is a national online news portal which provides a news regarding sports. As one of national online sport news portal, bola.com have an obligation to deliver news without any hidden agendas, including a news about certain genders. The purpose of this research is to analyze the news content that provided by the website of bola.com. This research uses data which comes from the result of documentation and also literature review, with content analysis as the research method. The result of this research shows the news content that provided by bola.com on their website contains male gaze. This research uses three dimension base on Laura Mulvey theory about Male Gaze that is, coverage, language, and visual content to identified which news contains Male Gaze Keyword: Male Gaze, Bola.com, Online News Portal, Content Analysis
