Abstract
This research aims to find out how the effectiveness of the SIAKBA application (Information System for KPU Members and Ad Hoc Bodies) in the Selection of Voting Committees (PPS) Ahead of the 2024 Election (Research Study at the Palembang City KPU and Silaberanti Village), This type of research is qualitative descriptive using Budiani's Goal Achievement Theory (2007: 53), program target accuracy, program socialization, program objectives and program monitoring. Data collection method used by direct interview with the Head of KPU Palembang City and Head of Human Resources and Members of the Voting Committee (PPS). The results showed that the effectiveness of the SIAKBA application (Information System for KPU Members and Ad Hoc Bodies) facilitated the registration of PPS and could develop a modern, transparent and accountable recruitment process. In addition, this research contributes to further understanding of the use of the SIAKBA Application for PPS. The implications of the results of this study can be the basis for related institutions to improve and optimize the use of the SIAKBA Application in the future. After the conclusion of the author, it is known that the Palembang City KPU has been effective in implementing the SIAKBA Application for PPS selection, this is tested with 4 (Four) indicators from Budiani's Theory.
