Abstract

ABSTRAK 85% siswa setuju bahwa belajar matematika melalui sebuah game adalah menyenangkan, selain itu diketahui fakta bahwa kemampuan koneksi matematis peserta didik dapat ditingkatkan melalui media pembelajaran yang berkaitan dengan pendekatan matematika realistik untuk mencapai kemampuan koneksi matematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kemampuan koneksi matematis peserta didik dalam pembelajaran matematika yang menggunakan pendekatan RME ditambah dengan keterbaruannya menggunakan aturan permainan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa pada pembelajaran realistic mathematic education berbantuan game. Tahap pengumpulan data meliputi tahap pendahuluan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap akhir. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis observasi, teknik analisis tes dan teknik analisis data wawancara. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MTsN 1 Kota Prabumulih. Panduan data lembar observasi, soal tes, media dan data wawancara berisi komentar dan saran dari validator. Data observasi untuk melihat penggunaan pendekatan Realistic Mathematic Education berbantuan game. Semua data dianalisis menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Dalam analisis ditemukan kemampuan peserta didik terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis terdiri dari kemampuan tinggi, kemampuan sedang, dan kemampuan rendah. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan penelitian diperoleh kemampuan koneksi matematis peserta didik rata-rata cukup baik secara klasikal sebesar 36% pada pembelajaran Realistic Mathematic Education berbantuan game. Kata-kata Kunci: Realistic Mathematic Education, Game, Kemampuan Koneksi Matematis ABSTRACT 85% of students agree that learning mathematics through a game is fun, besides that, it is a known fact that students' mathematical connection abilities can be improved through learning media related to realistic mathematical approaches to achieve mathematical connection abilities. This study aimed to look at students' mathematical connection abilities in mathematics learning using the RME approach coupled with their up-to-date use of game rules. This study is descriptive research which aims to determine students' mathematical connection abilities in learning Realistic Mathematic Education education asissted by game. The data collection stage includes the preliminary stage, implementation stage and final stage. Data were analyzed using observation analysis techniques, test analysis techniques and interview data analysis techniques. This study was carried out at MTsN 1 Prabumulih City. The data guide for observation sheets, test questions, media and interview data contains comments and suggestions from validators. Observation data to see the use of the approach Realistic Mathematic Education asissted by game. All data was analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods. In the analysis, it was found that students' abilities regarding mathematical connection abilities consisted of high ability, medium ability and low ability. Based on the results of the study, students' mathematical connection abilities is pretty good average are 36% in learning were obtained Realistic Mathematic Education game-assisted.
