Abstract

The information gap emerged as a challenge during the Covid-19 pandemic. In response, numerous individuals created infographic accounts on Instagram to meet the public's need for Covid-19-related information. However, in May 2023, the world officially entered the post-pandemic phase after the pandemic emergency status was lifted, resulting in a decrease in the public's need of Covid-19-related information. This study aims to analyses the effectiveness of the @pandemictalks account in fulfilling the post-pandemic Covid-19 information needs, using @pandemictalks as the main object of this study. The method used in this study is quantitative research using quantitative descriptive data analysis techniques. The theory used in this study was Guha's information needs theory which it has four dimensions (Current Need Approach, Everyday Need Approach, Exhaustic Need Approach, and Catching-up Need Approach). Data for this research were gathered from primary and secondary data sources, as well as distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents.
