Abstract

The problem that farmers often face is pest attacks. These pest attacks often cause problems for farmers, such as crop failure which causes huge losses. One of these pests is crickets which damage plants by biting and eating young stems. People generally use vegetable insecticides which have bad impacts, so the alternative is to use vegetable insecticides. The aim of this research is to determine the concentration that is capable of killing 50% of test animals and the concentration that is the highest lethal toGryllus sp. and know the compounds of soursop leaves. This research was conducted from September to November 2023. The research used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 6 treatments (0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, and 5% matarin) and 4 replications. The research procedures are sample preparation, extraction, phytochemical screening, concentration preparation and testing. Research parameters are mortality, behavior and morphology of test animals (crickets). Analysis uses probit regression analysis and ANOVA analysis as well as further testsDuncanThe research results explain that soursop leaf extract has an effect on cricket mortality, behavior and morphology with LC values50 1 hour 16.474% moderately toxic category and 24 hours 9.414% toxic category. The extract contains metabolite compounds such as tannins, steroids, flavonoids, phenols, terpenoids and saponins. A concentration of 15% was able to kill 50% of the test animals and 20% killed the highest.
