Abstract

The objectives of this research was to know substance plant with amount of joint and origin branch of different fruit to growth of pepper cutting in the seeding. This research at Balai Pengkajian Teknologi Pertanian (BPTP) green house province of Bangka Belitung Island from Juni until October 2008. The research method was Randomized Completely Design and arranged in factorially with two factors and four replications. The first factor was intemode amount, consisted of Rj (one intemode with one leaf) and R2 (two intemode with one leaf at every intemode). The second factor was origin of branch, consisted of C\ (primary fruit branch), C2 (second fruit branch), and C3 (branch to traed). The result of the research showed that interaction of amount of joint treatment and origin branch was have an real effect to all variables. Cutting growth from two intemode with one leaf in each intemode (R2) gave better influence compared the cutting growth from one intemode with one leaf (Ri). The branch to tread treatment factor (C3) gave better influence by time of bud growth, shoot lenght, root lenght, dry weight of root, and dry weight of bud. Combination of to intemode with one leaf at every intemode treatment and orgin branch to tread gave better influence wich seeding of pepper plant cutting.
