Abstract

Sekitar 85% perempuan akan mengalami setidaknya satu gejala premenstrual syndrome. Persepsi stress tertinggi dialami oleh jenis kelamin perempuan sebanyak 62,3% yang mengalami stres berat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan dan mendeskripsikan hubungan persepsi stress dengan kejadian premenstrual syndrome pada kelas XII MA Al-Ittifaqiah dan MAN 1 Ogan Ilir. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu analitik cross sectional, teknik purpossive sampling dengan sampel sebanyak 83 siswi di masing-masing sekolah. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji chi square, uji regresi logistik sederhana dan uji regresi logistik model faktor risiko. Hasil analisis chi-square menunjukkan persepsi stress memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan kejadian premenstrual syndrome di MAN 1 Ogan Ilir (p=0,018) dan berbanding terbalik di MA Al-Ittifaqiah (p=0,107) yang menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan anatara persepsi stress dengan kejadian premenstrual syndrome. Sedangkan hasil analisis menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara aktivitas fisik, kualitas tidur, usia menarche dan status gizi dengan kejadian premenstrual syndrome di MA Al-Ittifaqiah dan MAN 1 Ogan Ilir. Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi logistik di MAN 1 Ogan Ilir menunjukkan bahwa persepsi stress yang tinggi berisiko 6 kali lebih besar untuk mengalami kejadian premenstrual syndrome setelah dikontrol oleh variabel kualitas tidur dan usia menarche. Sedangkan di MA Al-Ittifaqiah, persepsi stress yang tinggi berisiko 4 kali lebih besar untuk mengalami kejadian premenstrual syndrome. Persepsi stress memiliki pengaruh terhadap kejadian premenstrual syndrome pada siswi kelas 12 di MAN 1 Ogan Ilir, oleh karena itu diharapkan siswi dapat memanajemen stress dengan baik agar dapat mengurangi dampak dari premenstrual syndrome.
