Abstract

This research aims to find out and compare whether there are significant differences in Profitability, Islamicity Performance Index, and Intellectual Capital of Sharia Banks in Indonesia before and during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The data source uses secondary data, obtained from reading sources from several journals and annual financial reports for the 2018-2019 period for Sharia Banks in Indonesia before the Covid-19 pandemic and financial reports for the 2020-2021 period during the Covid-19 pandemic. The analytical methods used in this research are descriptive tests, normality tests, Analysis of Variance, Mann-Whitney tests, and independent sample t-tests. From the results of this research, it can be concluded that from before to during the Covid 19 pandemic period, although there was indeed a decline in financial performance based on descriptive data, the level of decline was not very significant. This is evident from the results of the Anova test, Mann-Whitney Test, and Independent Sample t-test, where the average sharia financial performance, population distribution, and significant average value of Sharia Banks in Indonesia are relatively no different/the same.
