Abstract
The research was intended to evaluate the respons of lines com at various dose of fertilizer, to identificate lines of com that have efficient and responsive characteristics, also efficient and non responsive in marginal land, and to determinate optimum dose of fertilizer for lines of com in marginal land South Sumatera. Research was done started from April up to Juiy at Research Station of Agro Techno Park (ATP), Bakung Village, North Indralaya, Subdistrict Ogan Ilir (OI) Regency, South Sumatera Province. The split-plot design were used in this research with thrce replicates. Main block is doses of fertilizer which are without fertilizer (Po), 25% (Pi), 50% (P2), 75% (P3), 100% (P4) from Standard dose fertilizer of ATP. Second block is lines of com. The results of the research showed that lines of com can divided in four groups, one is efficient and responsive com line which are SI, S212, B41, and L164 , two is efficient and non responsive com line which is of lines com which is S9, S58, S70, Slll, S167, S194, S201, S232, K04, K20, L197, B33, B52, B94 and B19, three is non efficient and responsive which is B61 and K10, four is non efficient and non responsive which is S219, S63, B90 and K43. Dose optimum of fertilizer for efficient com lines is 25% (Pt) which is 100 kg Urea, 25 kg SP-36, 12,5 KC1 per ha, until 50% (P2) which is 200 kg Urea, 50 kg SP-36, 25 kg KC1 per ha. Mostofcom lines have same respons with fertilizer Ihat is production increase from without fertillizer (P0) until 100% (P4) of fertilizer (that is 400 kg Urea + 100 kg SP-36 + 50 kg KCI per ha) m marginal land.
